Hourly Pay: £30 - £40 LTD/Umbrella rate

Responsibilities:
As a Qualified Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
Assessment and Intervention: Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify strengths and risks. Develop and implement intervention plans to address safeguarding concerns, working closely with families to facilitate positive change.
Case Management: Managing a caseload of families, including monitoring, reviewing, and updating care plans. Regularly collaborating with external agencies, schools, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective support network for families.
Court Representation: When necessary, represent the Family Safeguarding Team in court proceedings by presenting evidence and professional opinions on child protection matters.
Collaboration and Partnership: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partner agencies and community resources. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to family support.
Support and Advocacy: Provide emotional support and advocacy for families, ensuring their access to relevant services and resources. Advocate for the best interests of children within legal and ethical frameworks.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of qualified Social Work experience
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
5 years of satisfactory references
Valid Driving License with access to a vehicle
Registered with the Social Work England (SWE)
